SAM stands for Student Alcohol Management. The purpose of the Foundation is to find an effective alcohol awareness program with emphasis on alcohol poisoning and high-risk consumption that can be implemented at colleges and universities in the United States.

Memorials sent to the Spady family at the time of Samantha’s death provided the seed money for the Foundation. All donations are tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Future contributions to the SAM Spady Foundation will fund the program search, development and implementation goals.
